Miscellaneous Articles - Asking Out in Latin

Written by Bob.

Someone in-the-know kindly translated (as near as possible) the following into Latin and was good enough to also include the pronunciations.

"Any spirit here present please make your presence known, either by a light or a sound or by speech. We mean you no harm and have respect for you. Please give us a sign or indication of your existence".

Latin: "Quicumque animus adest, quaeso, te ipsem ostente, aut luce aut sono aut voce. Tibi nullum malum in animo habemus et te salutamus. Quaeso, da vobis signum aut testimonium exstandi tui".

Pronunciation, Classical era: "Kweecumkway animus ad'est, kwy'so, te ipsem ostente, owt lukay owt sono owt wokay. Tibi nullum malum in animo habaymus et te salutamus. Kwy'so, da wobis sing'num owt testimonium ekstandi too'ee".

Pronunciation, Ecclesiastical era: "Kweecumkway animus ad'est, kwy'so, te ipsem ostente, owt luchay owt sono owt vokay. Tibi nullum malum in animo abaymus et te salutamus. Kwy'so, da vobis sing'num owt testimonium ekstandi too'ee".
