A view across Stone Bay - Photo: Bob
Thursday 22nd March, 2012.
Group: Sarah, Sue, Bob, Dawn, Keef, Claire and Martin.
Written by Bob.
We met up at nearby Broadstairs' Pier and made our way, on foot, along the seawall promenade towards Stone Bay.
In the first section of Stone Bay, and at the same time, Sue and Dawn detected a menacing atmosphere.
They described it as though they were being watched and something was waiting.
sensed something had happened here sometime ago which involved boats
but couldn't be more specific apart from there had been lots of
Dawn felt there had been guns fired.
We continued to the far end of the Bay.
Claire approached the foot of the steps, she felt, what she described,
as a "warm mist" to her right-hand side but the next second it was gone.
Claire briefly detected this "warm mist" again.
stood at the bottom of these steps, sensed someone pushing past her on
her right-hand side and then rushing up the steps but stopping partway
to look back before continuing.
She felt this was as though they were being pursued.
Pictured right - a light anomaly taken at this time.
EVP session was commenced at the bottom of these steps, part way
through this Claire sensed movement to her right-hand side.
Later examination of this recording revealed nothing unusual.
During this session, Sarah got "seventeen hundred and something" as it was asked "In what year were you born".
Sue was also picking-up on a male whom she suspected had something wrong with his right leg and Sarah got a "Timothy".
Sue sensed a number of bulky men rushing down these steps as though they were chasing after someone.
She also heard a tinkling sound similar to a tin can but no other member of the group heard this.
the corner of the cliff on the promenade, Sue sensed blood and
suspected someone had fallen over the cliff and had landed here.
Sarah and Claire both heard a laugh which was not apparent to anyone else in the group.
As we prepared to head back the way we had come, Sarah 'heard' "Don't go".
the first set of beach huts, Sarah felt something touch her behind and
Claire felt a stabbing-type sensation in her left ribs.
Sarah heard a whistle which was not apparent to anyone else.
in the centre of this section of the Bay, Sue described this specific
spot as "a haven sandwiched between two bad areas" (in a spiritual
Sarah was picking-up on soldiers and barbed wire.
When team members were asked to concentrate on any specific names, Claire felt "Bailey", Sarah got "Fisher" and Sue "Shanks".
Sarah reported a stabbing-type pain in her side.
We moved on before stopping in the centre of the next section of Bay nearest to the Pier.
Sue sensed we were being followed and then saw a brief flash further back along the promenade.
An EVP session was commenced but later examination of this recording revealed nothing unusual.
During this session, Sue picked-up on "Abe" which she suspected was short for "Abraham", therefore possibly Jewish?
Dawn felt there was a "Gerrard" present or possibly "Gerrards" so either a first name or a surname?
Sue 'heard' laughing and then commented on this area having the stronger (spiritual) activity.
Dawn reported a stabbing-type pain to her right shoulder.
Sue picked-up on fighting involving a large number of guns.
Sarah was still sensing the soldiers and barbed wire.
Dawn picked-up on the name "Joe" or "Joseph".
We continued walking towards the Pier.
Dawn was sensing policemen in old-fashioned uniforms with tall hats.
Arrived back at the Pier.
End of Walkabout.
Various things picked-up on or sensed could relate to one of two incidents, or both, which occurred in this area.
first was a confrontation between smugglers and Revenue Men and the
second was an incident which occurred more recently which will not be
disclosed in this report.
