Group: Bryn, Sue, Sarah, Keef, Bob, Roger, Karl and Dawn.
Before commencing the investigation of the Woods, we travelled to a structure at another location.
Just inside the doorway an EVP session was commenced - later examination of this recording revealed nothing unusual.
During this session, Sue heard movement and Sarah got the name "Paul".
heard panting like a dog or someone who was out-of-breath, this was
also heard by Sarah who described it as being "right in her ear".
Bryn was picking-up on someone like a Ground's Keeper, he was young, small and very cruel.
Sarah got the number "73".
Karl was sensing something was present and described the atmosphere as "electric", the hairs on his arms were standing up.
Sue also felt this.
Another EVP session was commenced inside the building but, again, later examination of this recording revealed nothing unusual.
Sue reported seeing a light around Bob as he had conducted the EVP session which she described as "like a shadow from a light".
She also felt there was an "envelope of cold" around her as though a presence was close by.
Karl also noticed this sudden drop of temperature on what was a very warm and still evening.
Sarah sensed we were being watched from the boundary wall opposite and then heard footsteps from that direction.
Sue reported that the structure had briefly illuminated.
Karl's K2 Meter activated but unfortunately some mobile phones were still on and could have been responsible.
With all phones now off, Karl tried again asking for an indication.
Dawn picked-up on a name like "Diane" or "Diana".
Sue sensed there was a woman present, although she was probably unaware of us, her name was possibly "Dorothy".
With no further activation of the K2 Meter, Karl placed it on the ground and we all moved away.
Karl mentioned that he had been getting "G" names like "George" and "Gregory".
Sue reported hearing a sobbing sound.
Sarah heard more heavy breathing/panting.
Various members, including Karl, Roger and Sarah, witnessed several flashes on the boundary wall opposite.
could 'see' movement all along this wall as though there was a line of
people and was 'given' the phrase "The Reculver Line" although he had
no idea what this meant.
Unfortunately we could only spend a short time at this location but intend to return sometime in the future.
There had been no further activation of the K2 Meter.
We arrived at roughly the centre of Mockett's Wood.
On entering the rear entrance of the woods, Karl reported 'hearing' a very deep, gruff voice.
Sarah picked-up on a man in a WWI army uniform with a flat cap, whom she described as "just walking through".
A brief, overpowering orange/citrus odour was detected by Bob and Sarah.
Bryn felt that a large building had once stood here which had burnt down before the wood had been planted.
